A breakfast on the go from “Skinny weeks and Weekend Feats. Gizzi’s book is not necessarily focused on losing tons of weight, it’s not a diet book. However, it does offer clever healthy substitutes.
Here it is a very quick recipe for a coffee loving, busy and weight conscious …and it’s surprisingly delicious!

BREAKFAST ON THE GO…. MOCHA POWER SHAKE
(135 calories, serves 1, prep 5 mins). INGREDIENTS:
- 1 tsp good-quality cocoa powder
- 1-2 shots of espresso
- 1tbs agave nectar ( I used honey instead).
- 1 tbsp flavourless organic whey protein powder
- 1/4 vanilla extract
- 200ml semi-skimmed milk
- A glass of ice
