What can make you smile on a Monday morning? Not much in my case. However, a good milkshake always helps. I love this quick whizzed-up breakfast. It’s sweet, velvety and peanutty – protein powder gives it a little bit more body and thickness. It keeps you full and has only a little over 300 calories.
( Serves 1 large glass, prep time: 5 mins)
- 1 small, very ripe banana
- 1 tbsp smooth peanut butter
- 1 tbsp organic whey protein powder
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 250 ml semi-skimmed milk
- a glass of ice
- 1/2 tbsp of organic coconut nectar ( or honey ).
Put all the ingredients together in a blender and blitz till smooth.
